SPUD
update:
We know Charlene is a great little actress and it happened again.
Yes - producers changed their script
to give Charlene's character
more scenes in Joey Travolta's movie SPUD.
They added 2 more
days of filming. After
Bobby Fischer Live this is the second project
within a week that producers have changed the script for her! No
surprise that all of us as well as her agent are over the moon!

3/10/09
Yeah! Congrats Charlene. She booked a role in the upcoming
Bobby Fischer biopic
. The most amazing part is this though:
Charlene wasn't old enough to play the sister of Bobby Fischer but
she impressed everybody so much that they wrote her into the script
and gave her a different role with a line and everything. Charlene is
speechless, so is her agent and so are we. Can't believe it! The
producers changed the script so Charlene can be part of the
project!!!! Congrats! You do rock, Charlene!
Shooting will start next week and will hopefully not interfere with her
Joey Travolta project!

3/8/09
Charlene's piano recital was a full success. Thanks to Steve
Strombeck and his faculty at the Performing Arts Guild of Orange
County for their tireless efforts and support. You guys rock! Click on

3/3/09 update on 'The Gift':

FEBRUARY 2009:
SPUD/ Inclusion Films
Charlene booked the role of Samantha in the SAG short movie
SPUD produced by Joey Travolta's Inclusion Films production
company. The story is set in 1988 and she will play the 10 year old
sister of Spuds who lives his life as a fictional superhero. Little
Samantha has not only to deal with her superhero brother but also
with her faddish for Barbie Dolls.
Project Notes: This is the third short film for Inclusion Films backed
by ValCom, Inc., a fully Integrated Entertainment Company with their
facility located in Burbank, CA. The mission of Joey Travolta's
Inclusion Films' Practical Film Vocational Program is to provide the
consumer the entry-level skills necessary to work in the production
field of the entertainment industry. This program will help enable
developmentally disabled individuals to fully participate in all aspects
of community living and the work force.

Inclusion Films will be working with several film companies that will
lend their feature film productions as a lesson plan for the
workshops. It's a unique way to reach out into the community and
provide an opportunity for this special segment of the population.

We are so happy and proud that Charlene can be part of this so
important work that Joey Travolta is doing!

The Gift/ Freak Show Entertainment
Charlene booked the lead role of Emily in the Short Movie by above
mentioned production company. She will play a little girl who in the
1930's finds a mysterious doll only to find out the doll might have its
own sinister agenda. This is a pretty dark movie, full of drama.
Filming will start late February 2009. Director/ Producer:
Joseph
Guzman
